I read the article the other day and then read the comments and laughed (I also read the woman who they published in reply). Many of the comments were along the lines of 'if you are happy with your choice why are you justifying it because nobody cares'. Trouble is a lot of people care and no matter how trivial their relationship with you they feel fine on commenting on your childlessness and then go slightly (and sometimes totally) gaga when you tell them it is a choice. One good thing about being past child bearing age is that no one has bothered me on the subject in years.
